What are the key benefits of évolis?

évolis contains natural active ingredients that have been shown to inhibit FGF5 in laboratory studies. FGF5 is a naturally occurring protein which builds up in the scalp and is associated with hair loss. évolis helps reduce hair loss and hair fall, helping to reverse thinning, and improving hair length, leading to longer, thicker, healthier hair

What is FGF5?

FGF5 is a naturally occurring protein produced in the scalp. Its sole function is to regulate the hair growth cycle by taking hair that is actively growing into the transitional stage, stopping hair growth. Following transition, the hair will rest and then fall out. In 2014 a breakthrough study by scientists at Columbia University in New York confirmed FGF5 as crucial to limiting human hair growth, and showed that in the absence of FGF5 people grew excessively long hair. The excess hair fall seen in hair loss is the result of a shortened growth phase. évolis® inhibits FGF5, so extends the period of active growth and prevents excessive hair fall. Read more here

What happens when I stop using If you decide to stop using évolis?

If you decide to stop using évolis®, the FGF5 inhibiting natural actives will no longer be present. Hair will slowly revert to the previous growth rate and growth cycle.

Where can I buy évolis?

évolis products are available online at www.evolisproducts.com.au and at major pharmacies such as Priceline, Chempro, Superchem and other salons. Please call your local pharmacy to enquire about availability.

I don’t suffer from hair loss but I want longer hair. Will évolis help?

évolis PROMOTE is designed to support growing hair longer by extending the active hair growth stage, so hair stays actively growing for an extended period of time and can grow longer. évolis PROMOTE will also increase the rate of hair growth by around 20%, so hair will grow 20% faster and so will get longer quicker.

How long do I need to use the products before I notice results?

You will need to use évolis for a minimum of 16 weeks or 120 days to notice significant results of hair growth, though signs that évolis is working can be seen much sooner. Results you can expect include:

  • Less hair fall in the first 30 days of use
  • Short fine hairs visible in thinning areas in 30-60 days of use
  • Change in hair texture to smoother and more manageable in 60-90 days of use
  • Increased density in 90-120 days of use
  • Fine, downy hair texture change to stronger, thicker hair texture in 120+ days of use

It is recommended that continued use of évolis is needed to maintain the results.

If I stop using évolis will I experience excessive hair fall?

If you stop using évolis the naturally occurring protein FGF5 will begin to accumulate in the scalp and will slowly revert to previous levels. This is a gradual, not a sudden, process and will not result in sudden hair fall. If you were experiencing hair fall and thinning before starting évolis, when you stop using évolis your hair will eventually revert back to its previous state. It is recommended to use évolis continuously to inhibit FGF5 and avoid FGF5 accumulating excessively in the scalp to keep hair and scalp healthy and avoid hair fall.

What are the most common side effects of évolis?

There are generally no side effects from using évolis. People who suffer from a skin condition such as eczema, psoriasis or sensitive skin may experience irritation and/or a dry, itchy scalp.

Can I use it if I have eczema, psoriasis or any skin condition?

If you suffer from a skin condition such as eczema, psoriasis or sensitive skin we recommend you do a spot test to ensure no irritation will occur before proceeding with daily use of the product. If irritation should occur cease using the product immediately, if symptoms persist consult your health care professional. If in doubt, please consult your doctor before using the product. Always read the label, use only as directed.

How old do I have to be to use évolis?

évolis can be used at any age. évolis works by inhibiting FGF5, a natural protein that is produced in the scalp to regulate the hair growth cycle and take hair from the active growth stage into the transitional stage. Inhibiting FGF5 allows hair to stay in the stage of active growth for longer, resulting in less hair fall, more hair density, increased hair length and improved manageability. Because évolis has natural actives and antioxidants and no known side effects, it can be safely used to support the hair growth cycle at any age.

What types of hair loss will évolis help?

All types of hair loss are due to a disturbance in the normal hair growth cycle. Hair usually grows in 3 main stages, a period of active growth which lasts between 2-7 years, followed by a period of transition when the hair stops growing but remains in the follicle which lasts around 2 weeks, followed by a period of rest when the follicle is dormant. After dormancy, the follicle regenerates and the cycle begins again when hair starts to grow actively. When the hair growth cycle is disturbed, less hair is in active growth stage and more hair falls out, creating thinner hair; hair also stays dormant for longer. FGF5 is a naturally occurring protein made in the scalp which pushes hair from the active growth stage into transition. évolis inhibits FGF5, so hair stays actively growing for longer. évolis will help all types of hair loss where the hair growth cycle has been disrupted.

How about alopecia areata, totalis and universalis?

These types of alopecia are not caused by a disruption in the hair growth cycle. These types of hair loss are due to an autoimmune disorder, where the body treats the hair as a foreign body and rejects the hair, resulting in hair loss. A trichologist or dermatologist must treat this type of hair loss. Once the underlying cause has been treated, évolis can be used to help support hair growth and prevent buildup of FGF5 to ensure hair grows in the best possible environment.

Is évolis tonic natural and animal cruelty-free?

évolis® products are based on predominately natural ingredients and have not been tested on animals. Each évolis® tonic is made in Australia and clinically tested to pharmaceutical standards to ensure the highest quality of each product for the treatment of hair loss and thinning.

Free shipping for orders over $100. For orders below $100 a flat rate shipping fee of $11.99 will be applied.  Standard delivery takes approximately 3-5 business days depending on your location.

Shipping to PO boxes is subject to restrictions.

Free shipping for orders over $100. For orders below $100, a flat rate shipping fee of $15 will be applied. Standard International delivery takes approximately 5-7business days depending on your location.

Shipping to the Rest of the World.

A flat rate shipping fee of $40 for orders below $100 will be applied to international orders.  For orders over $100, a flat rate shipping fee of $25 will be applied.  International orders will be dispatched via tracked air service and should be delivered within 7-14 business days.

International customers are solely responsible for all duties, import taxes and/or brokerage fees. These are not included in the cost of shipping or handling of the order. Customs, duties, and taxes vary from country to country so please check with your local customs agency for details on estimated costs. Customs, duty, and taxes are non-refundable.Hence, if you refuse a shipment because of unexpected import fees, the cost of the original shipping, any brokerage, customs, duty, or taxes, and any return shipping charges will not be refunded. 

RETURNS POLICYYou may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We may also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the Agreement as amended from time to time.

Advangen Beauty can only ship to a limited number of countries. Advangen is not responsible for customs charges and restrictions that vary from country to country and result from the importation or certain products. The purchaser remains responsible for all charges and fees incurred.

Given the popularity of our products, except where prohibited by law, Advangen may limit the number of products available for purchase by any one customer, including without limitation so that as many customers as possible may enjoy products supplied by Advangen.

In the event of the requested products being unavailable Advangen may cancel the transaction and effect a full refund.

PRICES & PAYMENT

All prices listed on the site are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of any Australian Goods and Services Tax (as applicable).

The prices indicated may be changed at any time without advance notice. However, the products shall be charged at the rate in force when the customer’s order was validated.

Where the customer pays by payment card, the customer warrants that they have the necessary rights to use the payment card and that they are fully authorised to use it to pay for the order. The customer also warrants that this card gives access to sufficient funds corresponding to the amount of the order. Failing this, Advangen reserves the right to cancel the sale accordingly. Advangen is under no obligation to ship any goods ordered until payment for those goods has been received.

USE OF PRODUCTS

Upon purchase of products, the buyer agrees to use the products only for their intended purpose and strictly in accordance with their instructions, precautions and guidelines. Any other use will cause the buyer to assume full responsibility for any loss or damage arising out of their use. Questions as to use can be directed to Advangen via their contact details.

You should always check the ingredients for products to avoid potential allergic reactions.

If any minor uses any product purchased through the site it should be only after the parent or legal guardian has discussed the product with the minor's doctor.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the full extent permitted by law, Advangen makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding any matter including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or use in relation to any product supplied by Advangen.

Where legislation implies into this agreement any condition or warranty that cannot be restricted or modified, Advangen’s liability for any breach of such conditions or warranties will (to the full extent permitted by law) be limited to, at the option of Advangen, one or more of the following: (a) replacement of the products, the repair of the products, or the supply of equivalent products; (b) repayment of any part of the price of the products supplied; or (c) payment of the costs of replacing or repairing the products, or acquiring equivalent products.

This Agreement will not be read or applied so as to purport to exclude, restrict or modify or have the effect of excluding, restricting or modifying the application in relation to the supply of any products pursuant to these terms of all or any of the provisions of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or the provisions of any other statute, act or law of any State or Territory of the Commonwealth of Australia, or any other applicable territory, which by law cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.

BREACH AND TERMINATION

If, in our reasonable opinion, you breach any provision of the Agreement Advangen may immediately issue a warning, temporarily suspend or permanently prevent your access to all or parts of the site. In any event, we may terminate the Agreement (and your rights to use the site) at any time and for any reason without prior notice to you.

CONCLUSION OF TRANSACTION

The agreement for sale is concluded only when goods are handled over to the designated carrier. For clarity, when the goods are transferred to the designated carrier the goods are considered as sold and the ownership of the goods is transferred to the buyer

APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

Advangen (www.evolisproducts.com.au) is created and controlled in New South Wales, Australia. All purchases are subject to the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia, and where applicable the state of New South Wales. By purchasing products through this site you submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia and Australia and agree that any legal action will only be commenced in these forums.

GENERAL

If any provision of these terms and conditions is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
